Our experience with J Flannery Contracting has been outstanding. We requested that the company owner, John, provide quotes for front stairs leading to our two family house. We went through the BBB website and John was the first to respond to our request. John listened to us regarding what we were looking for and provided us with several options and price points. He also pointed out other houses in the area that had similar stairs so we knew what to expect. His quotes were very competitive with other local contractors we consulted. John was very specific in his contract regarding the costs and the work he would provide. The language he used was clear and concise - there were no surprises in cost.

John provided a timeline and he and his crew not only stayed on time but several times showed up early. As they were battling a very wet spring they would save time by coming by on the weekends. The workmanship is wonderful and actually exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail is excellent. Additionally John and his crew left a clean worksite. Overall we are incredibly pleased with J Flannery Contracting - both the work and the experience of using J Flannery as our contractor. John is very attentive and responsive. He addresses any questions or concerns immediately. We were so impressed with the stair work that John completed that we have had him complete some other work on the house and will be using him in the future.

John Flannery and his staff were very professional and courteous and always delivered what they said. The job site was cleaned each day before they left which was great because we had other contractors in the past who were very sloppy. Their prices were very reasonable (we got 4 quotes) and finshed almost on time with a little delay by the weather. Overall a very pleasant experience and would recommend them to my friends and family.

I wanted to express my sincere thanks for the work you performed at Chris and Amie's condo. We both are aware that once you start working on an old structure, a multitude of items can and will present themselves; needing to repaired , removed or redone. The professional manner in which you recognized and addressed our specific repairs and additions was greatly appreciated. We found you and your 4 man crew to be extremely courteous and professional. Your preparation of the work site to protect it from damage was meticulous. One of your men would immediately clean excess debris from each work area before moving to the next, thereby eliminating residual dust and/or dirt from migrating to sanitized areas.

When adverse conditions were discovered, you immediately pointed them out, discussed options for repair and facilitated the agreed course of action. Your crew is well trained and have the perfect demeanor for interaction with your cliental, during a time that may be stressful to the average homeowner. As you know, I have dealt with countless contractors and subcontractors throughout the years and have had the opportunity to experience many different levels of experience and professionalism. I have found your courtesy and professionalism to be at the very highest level and would gladly recommend you to any prospective client to perform any type of construction you state you are capable of performing. As I previously stated, we have need for additional work to be performed in the future.
